Some spaces do not speak loudly. They are felt through atmosphere, light and the quiet way they shape our emotions.
Franziska Elena Spiller founded STUDIO F|E from a long standing fascination with how spaces influence the way we feel. What began through interior concepts and visual storytelling gradually evolved into a creative practice centered around calm, atmosphere and emotional perception.
Before fully pursuing this creative path, Franziska worked in consulting and digital environments. Surrounded by constant stimulation, visual overload and the pressure of permanent availability, she began questioning how deeply our surroundings shape the way we feel. Her search for a more intentional counterbalance eventually led her towards art, photography, architecture and spaces that do not overstimulate, but instead create a sense of calm.
Today, she combines her background in digital marketing, interior design and photography into a distinctive visual language. Guided by the philosophy “Creating Serene Spaces Through Design and Imagery”, she creates spaces and visual environments designed to soften visual noise rather than add to it.
What is particularly interesting is that we often experience spaces emotionally long before we consciously analyse them. Light, materials, scent and proportions influence within seconds whether a place feels calming, familiar or cold. Perhaps this is why atmospheric spaces are never created through objects alone, but through the quiet harmony between them.
This same philosophy can also be found throughout Franziska’s fine art print collections. Her work explores quiet compositions, soft contrasts and timeless black and white photography inspired by nature, stillness and spatial harmony. The pieces feel less like decoration and more like an extension of a certain atmosphere within a room.
Franziska approaches interiors holistically. Materials, light, objects, scent and imagery should work together to shape how a space is experienced emotionally. This is why LE O'BU feels like a natural extension of her world. The candles integrate seamlessly into both her interior concepts and photographic work. With their natural waxes and modern scent compositions, they are designed to create an atmospheric presence within a space without overwhelming it.
